Well said, Juliet. While keeping up with the joneses has always been a challenge, expanded use of social media and the internet has made it much worse. I'll admit, I look at pages all the time and think, "it would be nice to have that." But by focusing on long-term goals and the impact of an expenditure, I'm usually able to pull back from the edge.
